Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Write complex and optimized SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
• Perform query optimization, database performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient data processing.
• Work with relational database management systems (RDBMS) and understand database structures, relationships, and performance considerations.
• Use Python for data processing, analysis, automation, and analytical tasks.
• Work extensively with Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy for data manipulation and analysis.
• Clean, transform, validate, and structure complex datasets to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable business insights.
• Use Excel and spreadsheets for advanced data analysis, reporting, and data validation.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau.
• Present analytical findings and insights in a clear and meaningful manner to business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective data-driven solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation through data analysis.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across analytical reports and dashboards.
• Support business teams with ad-hoc analysis and data-driven decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications

SQL & Database Management

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL.
• Ability to write complex and optimized SQL queries.
• Good understanding of joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, and advanced SQL concepts.
• Experience working with relational databases/RDBMS.
• Understanding of database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience handling large and complex datasets.

Python & Data Analysis

• Strong foundational to intermediate-level knowledge of Python.
• Hands-on experience with Pandas and NumPy.
• Experience using Python for data cleaning, transformation, analysis, and automation.
• Ability to work with structured and unstructured datasets.
• Good understanding of data analysis methodologies and statistical concepts.

Excel & Spreadsheets

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with advanced Excel functions, pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, and data manipulation.
• Ability to work with large datasets and create meaningful analytical reports.

Data Visualization & Business Intelligence

• Advanced experience creating dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau.
• Ability to convert complex datasets into clear and interactive visualizations.
• Strong understanding of KPIs, metrics, charts, and dashboard design.
• Ability to communicate analytical findings effectively through data visualization.

Business & Communication Skills

• Strong ability to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights in a simple and understandable manner.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills
