Vice President (VP) – Operations

Job Overview

VP Operations Jobs offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced operations leader to drive end-to-end logistics, supply chain, fulfillment, warehousing, and transportation operations. We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Vice President (VP) – Operations to lead multi-city operations while driving operational excellence, profitability, scalability, and customer experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in logistics and supply chain management, P&L ownership, network and fleet management, process optimization, operational analytics, and large-scale team leadership. The role will work closely with Product, Technology, Finance, Sales, and HR teams to build scalable and technology-enabled operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end First Mile, Middle Mile, Last Mile, Warehousing, Fulfillment, and Transportation Operations.
• Own operational performance, including P&L, cost optimization, productivity, service quality, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve SLA adherence, delivery performance, turnaround time, and customer experience.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and technology adoption to create scalable and efficient operations.
• Lead multi-city operations, capacity planning, network expansion, and resource optimization.
• Optimize fleet utilization, transportation costs, manpower productivity, and operational capacity.
• Use operational data and analytics to identify improvement opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
• Partner closely with Product, Technology, Finance, Sales, HR, and other cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
• Establish operational governance, performance metrics, SOPs, and review mechanisms across locations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost, quality, productivity, and service levels.
• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing operations teams across multiple functions and locations.
• Ensure adherence to applicable processes, compliance requirements, safety standards, and operational policies.
• Develop scalable operating models to support business growth and changing customer and market requirements.

Required Experience

• 8–15 years of overall experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, E-commerce, Quick Commerce, Marketplace Operations, or a related industry.
• 3–5 years of experience in a senior leadership role, managing large-scale operations and cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience managing multi-location or multi-city operations.
• Strong exposure to P&L management, cost optimization, logistics networks, fulfillment, and transportation operations.
• Experience in scaling operations in a high-growth and technology-driven environment will be an advantage.
